I have lost track completely. Yesterday was insane, trying to get the house ready for family to come see it, and for people to be walking in and out of it cause TODAY is my roommate's birthday! She is turning none other than twenty one years old today... 4 minutes ago to be precise... So my other roommate and I did a sneaky thing. We stood outside her door and serenaded her in the dark --she was already in bed. I don't know whether or not she enjoyed it, but there is something about screaming at the top of your lungs at midnight that is just -- exhilarating....!
So today will be filled with laughter, presents, and above all -- good wishes... and that is why I like birthdays so much. It brings out the best in people.
