THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT ALL.

I realized today that my classes literally flow like a rollercoaster. You got your Span 4, where we have the advanced kids who care or --for lack of a better class, take the class to torture their teacher. Span 3 -- the rowdier crowd-- a mix of juniors and seniors who might or might not want to be in the class but that's besides the point because they ARE juniors and seniors and thus they own the school....And then FRESHMEN... Span 1. That's all i've got to say! Seventh period freshman class is a HANDFUL. Today I was literally sweating because i was trying to get them pumped, so i decided that jumping around like an idiot seemed like a great idea. Not doing THAT again!
Whatevs.
So far, I have learned most of the names in that freshman class. I figured that since they are the little-er ones, i gotta give them more lovin'. Class with them really wasn't so bad today.... except for that part where i was sweating balls

Spanish 3... that's a different story. Since i get to tweak the class as the day goes by, and students get to see the "betterized" version of my teaching by 6th period, my 2nd period is totally getting the shaft. So i have decided i'm going to be perfect. EVERY TIME. okay, let's be realistic -- i can't be perfect... but i'll try and make it work. it just sucks cause they are like my guinea pigs so i see what i'm doing wrong and i make it better, so fourth period then proceeds to give me great results, with more feedback and then 6th period is like WAHOO.
I just wish i liked my sixth period kids better.

Spanish Club meeting today sucked. How can you get kids pumped about a club that didn't even exist last year because NO ONE could find the time or put the effort into making it happen?? -- which is bull...

All right. Off to do some awesome-o planning-o!
