of tiny - very tiny - victories...

I had sixteen kids come in today during their off hours - voluntarily - to get extra help with Spanish.
I had sixteen kids choose to get help, rather than go to Starbucks.
I had eight of those sixteen kids playing a dice game to practice conjugations in Spanish.
I had all of those eight kids screaming and laughing and having a blast.
I had sixteen kids care enough about their grade in my class - some As, some Ds - to come in and ask questions...
I had a few more of those kids dropping by just to say "hello."

*Sigh*

It's those sixteen + reasons that make me love what I do.
