of loaning up

so, spring break has been probably the most uneventfully fabulous time. i have been able to catch up with my bed (she's doing well, thanks for asking). i have been able to hang out with people i love. i have experienced a few new things: returning a wedding dress, canvas and cocktails, and tomorrow an adventure to blackhawk.
in the same line of experiencing things... i began my mortgage talks today. never did i ever expect to be so ashamed of talking numbers with a complete stranger. the amount of hours i work definitely do not reflect either on my checking or savings account. i qualified for 110,000 dollars on my own. that's pretty fabulous, considering my ZERO net worth.
i started looking and fell in love with a few townhomes. now i have to tell my dad i dont want a house. why a house? i dont need a house. it's just me. i don't even want a darn pet. except maybe a fish. or a plant. i need two rooms, a kitchen and a living room. i don't even care for a patio, because let's face it: i ain't gonna take care of it.
i spoke to my mom and she seemed pretty ok with all my ideas. the one that always blows a gasket is my father. wish me luck.
i started filling out my application for the loan dude. oh.my.gosh. one and a half hours later i am sitting here wondering what my PERA stuff even means (and asking myself where my january statement went) and emailing CU to request transcripts among many other things... le sigh.
i shall update you in any emotional or financial news as soon as i have them. for now, i must depart.
toodles.
